I want to get a Black Widow Spider because I need it to complete my HoM, but I don't know if other things are more worth it!

I went for some large equipment packs (but I am a packrat)....so after getting one for each character (or a medium one for others)....I got a few zkeys---from there what everyone else has said is good.

Capturing a Black Widow in the Underworld is much faster than the time needed to acquire 5 Gold Zaishen Coins. You can probably capture one in less than 20 minutes by completing Wrathful Spirits.

If you want a pet for your Hall of Monuments, the Black Moa is the easiest to get - no messing about the Underworld for the spider, no having to level up the Phoenix. The quest to make it spawn can be a little tedious, but not hard. If you party with someone who's done the quest, it'll spawn for you even if you haven't. Just have to be far enough in Factions that you have access to the Fort Aspenwood (Kurzick) outpost.

In fact, if you want to send me a message in-game (Farai Savitri) I can help you with that, it takes only a couple of minutes.

Its actually to fill up my heroes/companions page. I only need the Phoenix and the Black Widow... but I don't know which one to spend it on.

You can tame an Imperial Phoenix in the Divine Path after killing Shiro (Imperial Sanctum). Elementalists are always offering runs in there. I certainly wouldn't waste coins on it. Unless you can't level it in a decent amount of time.

Ahh. I'd say in that case, don't spend on either - capturing a Phoenix is easy, and capturing the Black Widow is also easy. You can do the first couple quests in Underworld with a full hero team with no problems - took me about 20 minutes to spawn a spider, and I was being cautious about things.

The only thing is that when you cap the Phoenix, it'll be level 5, and it has to be level 20 to put it in your HoM, so you'll have to level it up.
